A ninety-minute virtual or in-person consultation provides patients an opportunity to ask our doctor questions pertaining to their metabolic health including lab review from outside labs and individual recommendations. If you would like to have your labs completed before your consultation, Dr. Issa likes to see results from the following labs tests but depending on the health problems that you may be dealing with, he may want more than just these:
- CBC (Complete Blood Count)
- CMP (Complete Metabolic Panel)
- C-Reactive Protein, Cardiac
- GGT
- Lipid Panel
- Hemoglobin A1c
- Insulin
- Vitamin D
- TSH
- C-Peptide
- Homocysteine
- Magnesium
- Uric Acid
- Iron & TIBC
- Ferritin
If you have not had labs done recently or Dr. Issa recommends additional lab tests, he can order them at the time of your consultation. The cost for these tests and the follow-up is additional to the consultation fee. The cost of a follow up appointment to go over the results is time based but usually is a 15-minute phone appointment and is charged at our one-time visit rate.
After being seen for a consultation, the patient may have the option of joining our Medical Weight Loss Program for 6 months at $1880 in order to continue under the care of our doctors for metabolic health needs.
Currently, we are only able to accept patients who reside in Idaho.
